Anyway, I already love this black and white version, but can't wait for the colored one anyway
Oh, and I think I remember this request you're talking about. It was someone on Midna Fan Forum that requested it, right?
I didn't use any references on this one, aside from checking some screenshots to understand the general shape of her face. Kinda stupid of me- that partly accounts for the inaccuracies.
I'm looking forward to the colored one too. It'll certainly look less rough than this version.
And yep, this started as a request from Azu on MFF. Don't think he's seen it yet though.
Her torso is a little stretched, and the neck's at a weird angle, but mostly what I meant by "inaccuracies" was the screwed up body patterning; the runs on the ears, arms, and legs. Didn't bother checking a reference.
Black and white work has a certain stark richness (yay, oxymoron!) to it that I enjoy. But now for colors... I'm working on an in-depth, extremely realistic Midna face drawing right now (looks decent thus far) so I can understand the process better; the color version of this one might have to wait a bit.
Hm, yeah, her torso is a little stretched, but her neck seems ok. It is a little to long, though.
Hah, almost no one bothers to look for reference on her runes anyway, so don't worry about that XD And they're not that inaccurate.
